Soft Cell - Making fun of Dylan

Soft Cell band name origins - Frank Zappa - Absolutely FreeSynth pop duo from Leeds, England, consisting of Marc Almond and David Ball.

The source of life of this symbiosis was the title of a song on the album Absolutely Free (1967), the second album by Frank Zappa's The Mothers of Invention. The track in question, Soft-Sell Conclusion, is considered by some as a pretty convincing parody of the young Bob Dylan, including the characteristic harmonica tinkles.

Active: 1978-1984; 2001-present, GBR
