Admiral Freebee - Wrecked in San Francisco Bay

From a musical point of view singer/songwriter Tom van Laere chose to go through life as ‘Admiral Freebee’. Bookworms will undoubtedly recognize the name, because it appears in Jack Kerouacs On The Road.

It is the name of a ship that was wrecked in San Francisco Bay and later was used as a buoy. For those who feel the need to check this: On The Road, part 1, chapter 12, page 80 (Penguin Books, 1976).
