Led by Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt, Extreme makes very spicy glam metal and hard rock. For that reason it is somewhat puzzling that they started their career as The Dream.Luckily the formation from Malden, Massachusetts woke up to see the error and the name was changed to Extreme, which should be read as 'Ex-Dream'.
