Comsat Angels

How did Comsat Angels get their name - J.G. Ballard - Low Flying AircraftPost punks from Sheffield, bringing a musical message the unsurpassed music site allmusic.com described as 'abstract pop songs with spare instrumentation, many of which were bleak and filled with some form of heartache'. An accomplishment indeed!

The name Comsat Angels is taken from a short story by J.G. Ballard, The Comsat Angels, originally published in If magazine (1968). Later it was included in the book Low-Flying Aircraft and Other Stories (1976) and also in other compilations of Ballard's short stories.
