Crowded House - You're welcome

Australian band led by Neil Finn that puts together melodic pop rock and that is called appreciatively The Crowdies by fans.

Crowded House name explanation - Danois-Siddiqui-Bombay-fete-de-Janmashtami-Inde2Apparently the group from Melbourne, while staying on the American west coast in 1986, pursued a rather active ‘open door' policy, in particular bass player Nick Seymour wanted to share the apartment he rented in Los Angeles with virtually anyone in want of a warm welcome.

On that address, 1902 N. Sycamore Street in Los Angeles, this resulted in quite large crowds every now and then.

In other words, it literally became a crowded house.

Active: 1985-1996; 2006-present, AUS
