Stiff Little Fingers - Or Stiff Little Singers?

Stiff Little Fingers name explained - The Vibrators demo cdIn 1977, when Stiff Little Fingers were formed, the riots in their residence, Belfast in Northern Ireland, were violent, just as violent as the band's punk rock.

They started as Highway Star, a name they derived from the song with the same name by Deep Purple. And for their new name, Stiff Little Fingers, they also reached out to an apparently favorite number: Stiff Little Fingers is the B side of a single of The Vibrators entitled London Girls, released in the founding year of Stiff Little Fingers, 1977.
