Fall - But the show must go on

Where band name Fall comes from - Albert Camus - La ChutePost punk band acting in instable formations and formed in Prestwich, England with one constant factor: singer Mark E. Smith.

A little terrier, this Smith, because when he broke his hip in 2004 he took the stand (or rather seat) that his American tour must go on; he performed in a wheelchair.

Although Mark came from a working-class family and never finished his studies, he was not averse to literature of some standing: The Fall takes its name from the novel La Chute by Albert Camus.

Active: 1976-present, GBR
