Largely grown up in the picturesque town of Ermelo in the Netherlands, Daryll-Ann, a Dutch rock band that was a breeding ground for musicians Anne Soldier and Jelle Paulusma, impressed with no less than six studio albums.
Among these the gem Weeps, a corruption of Weesp, the place where the album was recorded, in Frans Hagenaars' Studio Sound Enterprise to be exact. Daryl Ann (with one 'l' and without hyphen, last name until her marriage unknown) is a fictional character in fourteen episodes of the well-known American police drama Hill Street Blues, played by actress Deborah Richter.
In the series Daryl Ann was the girlfriend (and later wife) of officer Andrew ('Andy') Renko.
