Tru Smoke Diezel

Tru Smoke Diezel band name origin - Tonka toy truckThe New York metal band originating from New York and called Tru Smoke Diezel has a clear sense of the sound they should be aiming at: 'The Forgotten Art Of Pure Heaviness '.

The band was first called Monster-X (after a terrifying creature in the film Godzilla: Final Wars), but copyright problems prevented further use of this alias. So then it became Tru Smoke Diezel, a plastic toy truck marketed by producer Tonka.

To avoid constant copyright woes Diesel was written with a 'z' instead of an's'.
