Herman's Hermits

Rock and bubblegum band from Manchester that - it's a subtle difference – started as Herman & The Hermits. In England known for the number 1 hit I'm Into Something Good, another hit was No Milk Today.

How Hermans Hermits got the band name - Mr Peabody and Sherman cartoonSinger Peter Noone seems to have provoked the group name all by himself by putting his glasses upside down on his nose, at which someone remarked that he was a spitting image of Sherman from The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.

In this cartoon series the dog Peabody has a pet boy (let's say a domesticated homo sapiens) called Sherman. So Herman's Hermits actually should have been called Sherman's Hermits.
