Postal Service - Lyrics by return

American occasional formation consisting of Ben Gibbard (of the band Death Cab for Cutie) and Jimmy Tamborello (of Dntel and Headset), a duo that produced electronic indie pop ('indietronica').

Why band name Postal Service - USPS-TruckTamborello and Gibbard seem to have created their compositions 'postal': Jimmy sent the sound tapes to Ben, who then wrote the lyrics to the music.

Thanks to the U.S. Postal Service!

After all, neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.
