One of the most important girl groups of the 1960s, best known for songs such as He's A Rebel, Da Doo Ron Ron and And Then He Kissed Me.But they started with a composition by Leroy Bates, entitled There's No Other (Like My Baby).
The girls owe their group name to the daughter of Bates, who happened to have been christened Crystal.
