Not named after a toothpaste make, but after corn brandy, sold with ultra high alcohol levels (75.5% and 95%).
Not everywhere by the way, because in some countries the bottles are not allowed to change hands above the counter.
Everclear is manufactured by Luxco (formerly the David Sherman Company) and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most powerful alcoholic beverage in the world.
The Guinness publishers / beer brewers apparently take their loss in the highest alcohol level race with grace - Guinness on tap contains only 4.2% alcohol.
As blogger That Guy puts it: "If you have ever woken up in a strange place without your pants, then you probably been introduced to Mr. Everclear."
